  • Sickle Cell Society

    Sickle cell is a very painful condition that disproportionately affects people of African/Caribbean descent. There are over 250'000 carriers of the gene in the UK,with over 17'000 people having the full condition.Despite endless campaigning, there is still very little recognition and treatments available, to help those with it.
